Avid Hose Shortening.

Morning All
I need to shorten my rear brake hose as it is sitting on the crown of my nice new forks. I want to give it a go myself but was just wondering if the compression olive and barb for the hose would be the same as the ones advertised for Juicy brakes (mine are Elixir 5)? I only ask as every time I search for them its the Juicy ones that come up.

Have you thought about adjusting the rear banjo to point backwards to take up the slack by creating a loop/hump - its a lot easier.0
