I've run out of things to buy that I can justify. Hmmm, what to do.
What should I really really really need for winter?

Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX0 -
Winter eh? Sounds like the perfect time to buy a TT bike and skin suit. Think of the bargain you could get.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
FCN 9: B Twin Vitamin - winter commuter/loan bike for trainees

I would love another bike but it wouldn't be welcomed at the moment.
Keep the ideas flowing though, being a newb I'm sure there is something I haven't got yet.0 -
Wicking base layers - witchcraft, I tells ya!
Long fingered gloves - toasty fingers
Clear eye protection - so that you can see at night
Winter shoes - toasty tooties
Ice spike tyres - ice won't hold you back
Stupidly bright lights - blind anyone who dares to be facing in the opposite direction from you
Helmet camera - film EVERY ride
Track pump - keep your tyres at the right pressure
Bike work stand - makes it easier to work on your bike
Tools - easier to undo seized nuts than using just fingers and MTFU
An old steel frame from ebay that you get as a 'project' but will probably never get round to building up into the bike you dreamed of owning when you were a kid. - Its not N+1, its a future heirloom
Copper Slip - like grease, but coppery
Winter lube - lasts longer than dry lube and much better in the wet
Mudguards - keep a dry bum
Softshell - turtle power, oh, different kind of shell
I own at least 10 of these things.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future

That line is genius. Had me in stitches. I have a pot of very fine copper grease, with a brush in the cap. I know when and why to use it. But that's all so dull.0 -

Oh yeah, reflectives.
The spoke straws are good and Tesco do (or at least did) reflective stickers.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
