so after my bike was taken saturday and i have now stopped swearing i am now looking at what bike to buy next. the last was a forme rapide, so was a starter so would like something a rung or 2 higher this time. been and had a look round couple of shops today seen a nice giant, willer and raleigh (raleigh was a full carbon reduced from 1800 too £1200.
my budget is a bit undecided but i guess i would do a grand for certan and if it was worth spending i may push 1500. any good suggestions or tips welcome.

i know its probably an endless topic and general reviews see to ppoint to "theres no bad bikes out there its just what you like" but a point in some direction would be good

good natured humorous replies based on the German Cake that your bike was apparently made from:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stollen

for £1500 you're going to get a nice bike, Canyon seem flavour of the month atm but no chance to try before you buy.

  • Sorry! It was good natured though.

I've had a hankering for a Gran Fondo - looks a great bike but mainly because I just love the name!
