My first ever road ride

Hi Guys,
I have just got home from my first ever road ride on a road bike.
I did a 15.2 mile run in just under 52 minutes. I hit 33mph on a hill which I thought was amazing, until I realised I had to climb this hill when I turned back around!! Haha.
I completed this on my new Cannondale Synapse and absolutely loved every minute of it.
As this is my first run since I picked it up yesterday, should I lube the chain now?
Thanks, and happy mileage!

FANTASTIC! WELL DONE
Make sure you get out again ASAP0 -
Hopefully your chain was already lubed by the shop, so as long as it did not wet or dirty you should be ok for time being0

I assume the chain was lubed, I bought it from Pedal-On.
If I touch the chain, it is definitely greasy, so I assume it is fine.
I cycled in completely dry conditions today, no mud etc on the road either.0 -
There's a thread here that might help, loads of great advice about looking after you new baby and links to videos and guides.

Remember how much joy the ride gave you to keep yourself motivated to go out again and again. Perhaps use the forum to see if there are others in your area who want to ride with you and then when you've got more experience, try some club runs.
