SRAM shifter problems

my left hand SRAM shifter doesn't change, the gears change but the display showing which gear im in stays on 2 no matter what. X5 shifters, with the red tab that moves up and down,

easy fix or not worth bothering?

Try and squirt some lube in there. You can take them apart, but are a nightmare to put back together! It is not really needed to be honest, easy to know what front ring you are in ;-)

ok mate, yh im just a bit picky when it comes to things like that, annoys me how it doesnt work lol
