Help with Stems

Just had my bike fit. Amazing brain busting experience & it's left me needing a new stem & saddle. Sorted the saddle but have no idea where to begin with Stems.
I have a Focus Cayo ultegra fitted with a Stem: FSA OS-190. I need a 100ml +/- 6°.
Am thinking of using this as an opportunity to upgrade to a better stem. I started looking & saw 2 types. Oversized & normal stems. Whats the difference?
What models should I go for? Saw quite a few in wiggle sales but far too many to know what to choose.

Oversized stem clamps a handlebar of 31.8mm, I think a standard is something like 28.6mm
Going off the name of your current stem, I would imagine the OS stands for oversize, and so you will need a oversize stem if you are keeping the current handlebars.
As for models, it will sort of depend on what you like. Most from the big names like ITM, Ritchey, Deda will be pretty good.0 -
I've tried quite a few and, tbh, I couldn't tell the difference between them (then again, I am no Cav). My advice is just pick a sensible price point (£150 if you are a dentist, about £30-40 for mere mortals, ) and find something that you like the colour of.0
