I find some of my jerseys still smell after being washed. Are there any particular detergents or treatments that's effective for getting rid of smells from synthetic clothing?

Hanging mine out to dry outside on the line (as opposed to a clothes horse next to a radiator) seems to help - UV killing off bacteria that detergent leaves behind, presumably.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

Like above, look at changing the base layer to natural fibres. I've got a few bamboo base layers and they are OK - get a bit damp from sweat.0

Just try a different detergent0

Soak em in bicarb of soda overnight - extra rubbing of bicarb on smelly bits.
And then wash at a higher temp than you think you should... 60C instead of 40C0 -
