Fox Float Fluid alternatives

I am doing a air can service on a mates Fox Float R shock and I have just realised I have no Fox float fluid left, rung round local shops and no one has any in stock.
I have had a quick google and it seems the Float fluid is an assembly oil but all the brands reccomended are american stuff I cant get hold of. Any one used an oil that would be available at a motor parts shop and has it worked okay or can I just use some 15wt fork oil I have in the shed.
