Been putting it off for too long now, going out for a training ride despite wind that is laying all the trees round here over far enough to trim the top with garden shears while stood on the floor :x (and I'm only 5'8" )
If I haven't reposted by midnight can you come out and find me

I went out in last week's high winds on a 'Cross bike along an exposed seafront. It was surprisingly unpleasant, but very good training.
Went out tonight and it wasn't too windy. Where are you?0 -

I'm sure that is what my dad said as I trudged off the pitch as an 8 year old after a 12-0 spanking.0 -

Last night was a "High Winds on the Kessock Bridge" warning - I can feel it in my legs this morning.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

I would not go anywhere near the Kessock Bridge with a high wind warning without lead divers boots.. I was cycling in the Black Isle and Easter Ross the second weekend in September when everyone was taking cover. In this area had some lovely runs in light winds tho' not always totally dry. Very different from further south which I am told was horrendous. A good area for gentle cycling I think unless you have to commute when I suppose you have to take the bad with the good.0
