Look what turned up today....
Now I'm presuming the post-mount is to fit a 160mm rotor?
So if I want to fit a 180mm rotor I'll need something like this...?

Just a double check before I order...Thanks

what brakes do you have. It's the mount on them which determines it. You need PM-(your brake type)PM/IS 1800

My brakes are Shimano Deore M525 and they are post mount too."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

You need the Shimano F180P/P or Shimano F180P/P2 adapter. The P2 is newer and lighter due to a better shape, and is the one I went for (I bought both to try to fit my M665s to new Recons cos I couldn't find anyone to tell me what the difference was)
I got them both from Halfords of all places, as no-one else seemed to stock the P2!2011 Genesis Latitude

Think I'll take a punt on the XTR adapter and hope it fits - CRC free delivery to France and all that!

yeah baby!
Very excited to get them on - was gonna wait for this brake adapter to turn up so I can install the bigger rotor at the same time but don't think I'll be able to...might have to put them on tomorrow and take em for a spin!
Silly question - is there any benefit of installing a new headset to go with these shiny new babies? I've also gotta new (shorter) stem on the way from CRC - whole new head end?
My current headset seems fine"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

£11 and will match my EA50 Monkey Bars.
With the bar ends I'm at 720mm wide now and it's already pretty tight on some of the single track I ride"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes
