You won't see it on the TV schedules but I have just learnt that the time trial will be on the BBC red button between 11.30am and 4pm.

Sunday's race is on at 9am and highlights on BBC2 at 3.15pm.

  • The red button listings do exist but they're really difficult to find. I came across this link on another thread http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tv_and_ ... 345480.stm

Another little curiosity about the red button is that if, like me, you try to set up your PCTV to record it, you might find that it was broadcast on Freeview channel 301 instead. That's what happened to me yesterday anyway.

I've never understood why the BBC is so secretive about what and where it's broadcasting.

    That's good to know.

They've had the TTs, and the RRs on the red button for last 2-3years. I did wonder, howeve, if we would get the same level of coverage now they've got a lot more F1 content on the red button.

Eurosport for the win! Its been on all week with the under-23 men and women's TT on the last couple of days and the women's road race soon. Bring it on.
