Any electrical wizard able to tell me how you could use the Exposure Redeye rear light without having to possess the front light? mine bust along with the battery (outside warranty!!). I'm thinking like a battery pack i can buy to plug it into?

Thanks in advance

Obviously it's possible, but unless it's a standard connection with readily available batteries, you'd have to make something custom, which an electrical noob may struggle with...

Have a look at the Exposure add on batteries. Potentially one of those might be usable?

I don't know what the connection on the rear light is like but if it just plugs into the port on the back of the main light, there's every chance the Piggy back cell would work

  • Thank's for the helpful reply Andy, an exposure piggyback might be the answer. I wonder if there's a cheaper alternative to their batteries?

I use the red eye with the piggy back battery - just plug it in.

What's wrong with the front light? Can you use the battery power from it?

It's worth contacting Exposure about your broken front light, it may be cheaper to get it repaired than buy a new battery.
