I personally think you may be whistling in the wind if you tried this

    Maybe wrong though
  • I've been down a few in my youth in the Matlock Bath area of Derbyshire ...best place are the in the Yorkshire Dales..... the sheer number of them in the Ingelton/Horton-in-Ribblesdale would be a big conquest....but well wearth a visit ...dark,damp & muddy but great fun :?

I used the ctc site to report a large pothole at the end of my street. If it gets filled soon then I will let you know....

I did this and they filled the hole. The standard of repair was really poor, but that's ok, because get this, you can log back on and give feedback, which I duly did so.

It's really easy to use, you fill in location data, the website automatically identifies the local authority that is responsible for the road, then you wait for the hole to be repaired and post a review. If it doesn't get repaired you can also log in to your complaint and update that it's still not fixed.

Highly recommended, if everyone used this service there'd be far fewer holes.
