My wife has just had another packet of Haribo delivered.

We are so kind to them, but do they really appreciate it?

My Mrs always gets the haribo... sweetens the deal when random packages turn up on the doorstep without prior explaination.

I just make sure that the Mrs is at work and I'm working from home when random packages turn up..... no explaination needed then :D

That said, we used my Edge800 last week whilst hiking in the Lake District, I introduced it by telling her "I'll bring along my bike computer, it'll tell us how far we have climbed". Amazingly, she didnt' question the fact that it had full OS mapping on it and we were using it to navigate
I suspect she's just filed it away, and will remind me of my 'bike computer' next time she wants some shoes / handbag / clothes / etc etc.....

My husband has today fitted his DuraAce 7900 groupset on my bike (it's very nice and the shifting is fab) . I know I'm supposed to think that he's incredibly kind and loving but the fact is, it's just a shallow cover up for the fact that he wants licence to go and buy SRAM red black

I think he should have a few more chores to do before he gets that licence!
