I'm now looking for some winter tyres for my Defy 2 after getting caught out by the rain last week.
Am I right in thinking that the Conti Gatorskin would be a good choice?
Are there any others I should be looking at?

Why can't we have a "what tyres?" sticky? I'm not answering given the fact there's already 2 Gatorskins thread on this board....

agree with monty dog, gatorskins seem favourite
  • I am a big bloke at 98kg and I found the Hardshell Gatorskins to be fantastic winter tyres. Never had a puncture, still very, very fast rolling and getting excellent mileage from them.

Michelin Krylion Carbon is the only thing to come close.
