Just wondering if anyone has problems getting spare parts for their Mondrakers?

Ive been waiting a month now for a pair of shock bolts for my Prayer and Iam seriously balled off!
I cant seem to get a straight answer from Silverfish.

Just wondered if anyone else has had probs?.

Can't you just find bolts somewhere else?

  • Had no real issues,

took a week or so to get my rear freewheel, but nothign extreme, perhaps its your local retailer being rubbish and not phoning the order?
  • Yeah it could be as my lbs dont have a good repitation. It just seems that silverfish are not really bothered and are just taking what ever Mondraker are saying as gospel. Ive ordered parts worldwide and I cant see how it takes a month to send 2 bolts from spain.
  • Deal direct with them via email. Nothing but praise for their customer service tbh. Had a few problems with some formula bits and they were great
  • Deal with who silverfish or Mondraker?
I have sent both of them a email a week ago and still waiting for a reply. This has made my mind up,the frames going when I get the bits.Ihave never had to wait this long for bits for nay bike I have had.
  • So you're sellign your bike even though it is good, and parts are hard to source, when it is a small company? Man, you're stupid.
  • Y stupid? Yes the bike is good but whats worse? not riding your bike for over a month when all your waiting for is a pair of bolts or buy something else which you know parts are available everywhere and your not sat around at home watching vidoes of people riding.

Now in my book theres only 1 stupid here and that would be Mondraker for not stocking their distributors with a good supply of parts.
  • LOL, OMG I DIDN'T GET IT WHEN I WANTED; SELL THE DAMN THING.

I waited 7 weeks for new seals and a service done on a pair of forks. Wait times are normal. No reason to sell the thing, most people call it having patience. Realise you are dealing with a small company, and if parts run out, they have to get them made, they probably don't have millons of spares set aside for when someone wants 2 new bolts, and have to get them ordered.
  • Lol. Yeah Iam inpatiant. Its not the fact they dont have them in stock thats the problem its the fact I aint getting no responce to my emails. Its just plain ignorant. I know they are Spanish and they dont know the meaning of the word quick, we use spanish companies through my work so I know the speed they work at and Mondraker are taking this to the max.

If I had to wait 7 weeks for a fork service I think i would be in a box by now. :D

Don't say something else is ignorant when you say i aint getting no responce with a c. But welcome tot he world, not everything is able to be delivered when you want.
  • Follow up your E-mail with a phone call, I'm suprised silverfish hasn't responded have had nothing but great service from them and my Mondraekr stockist, had to wait 2 weeks for my cassette in essence as it went over a weekend, but they set up me with a loan bike to ride while it was down free of charge :)
  • I didnt think you could ring silverfish direct, I thought you had to go through a dealer.
  • Just got off the phone with silverfish. They are expecting them in within the next 2 weeks. Mondraker are just in the middle of changing their method of stock taking.

    How lucky am I! :(
