I leave for Wales in a few hours and thought I would check all the pressures on my Boardman team full suspension it then occured to me I know NOTHING about suspension pressures.
I weight 80kg what pressure should I have in the rear monarch 3 rear it has a shutter gate and rebound settings also.
On the front + and - settings please help lol

Set so you get about 25% sag, then fine tune.I don't do smileys.

As cooldad said 25 % is a good start then wind the rebound knob to fully open ie fast return then back off around 3 to 5 clicks front and rear and ride around and get a feel for how it handles, dont forget to take the pump, and write down the settings somewhere. Have fun..........all

Also when you set the sag right front and rear set the -ve up front the same as the +ve then fine tune that too.
Slightly more -ve gives an easier start to the stroke, slightly less -ve gives a slower start to the stroke, then play around with compression damping if you have it.

I agree with everything except when setting the rebound, I like to start at slow, and then make adjustments faster, until it just returns in time.
some people like their shock to be as fast as possible without throwing you off...I like mine to be as slow as possible without packing up.Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

I'm with cee on this, I prefer to start over damped and reduce it, but that is a personal thing....

cooldad is full of ****. I agree with bluechair though.
Personally I just infinite monkey this stuff- fanny about with it til it feels right. Then from time to time, fanny about with it some more for no good reason. Only half joking here btw- there's no one "correct" setting so with a little patience and attention you'll learn yourself what you want it to do (a lot of people prefer suspension that on paper is working badly!)
Oh and ignore the sticker on the fork leg, those numbers are pretty much random I think.Uncompromising extremist0 -
I also agree with what's been said. But I will add that you would be wise to have the rebound on the shock running slower than the fork.Kona Tanuki Deluxe0

I'm almost in agreement with all of the above, and I own a boardman team FS.
