Alternatives to Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL?

Considering an upgrade to these - should I be considering anything else similar around the same price point?

Also, best price is from this overseas retailer www.jedi-sports.de but would that mean no MP3 warranty?

To be honest as the wheels come out at approx £630 delivered, I might pass on the warranty anyway if it was a problem.

Thoughts?

Soul CA5.0. Lighter at 1600g and significantly cheaper at £520ish (depends on the exchange rates, which have shot up in recent weeks, it was £494 2 weeks ago!)

But it seems you're worried about warranty and tax so probs not the best option seeing as they're imported from Singapore. They have a great reputation however.
  • Fast Forward do some lovely wheelsets, like this one:

That one is a 58 mm deep rim, although there's a 38 mm one as well. Can be had as all carbon clincher, or carbon with aluminium rim, and a variety of hubs.

SHIMANO C50 carbon clincher were £549 @ merlin about a week a ago - presumably with fully warranty
  • Campag user so no RS80s unfortunately.

Budget would be no more than £750 so the FF's are a no too.

Cheers for the input tho guys
