I'm planning on doing this in a couple of weeks:

Has anyone got any experience of riding this in previous years? Is it quite tough? My training has been quite limited recently!
The route looks good, and the few reviews of it I have found online have been very positive.

Have done this 2 or 3 times. Always good. Route not too taxing.
Weather looks a lot better than previous years.0 -
Booked in with a couple of friends. Looks like it will be an absolutely amazing day weather wise(touch wood etc). Far better than we have any right to expect in October.
If you follow the Bikely link on that page:

You can bring up the elevation profile and see what it is like. About 1200m total climb.Roberts Audax - Raleigh Fixie - Thorn Tandem0 -
I've done it for the past three years but can't this year due to injury. It's a decent enough ride, nothing too taxing really but a nice, well organised sportive. A nice end of the season ride.0
