I will be in Sheffield a couple of times over the next few months.

Where would you recommend for a good 50/60 mile ride? The peak district looks very inviting.

I'd head into the Peaks without a doubt!

Check out the Strines (North of A57), Ringinglow, Home Moss, Castleton (Winnat Pass), Edale, Hathersage, Baslow, Monsal Head, Abney, Bakewell, Lady Bower to name a few places.

Lots of hills and nice lanes and reasonably quiet roads. Enjoy

Just avoid parts of A6 which can be a bit busy
