I've got a brand-x pressure washer, the older green version. Some idiot stood on the hose today and broke one of the push connectors.

I've tried doing a google search but I can't find anywhere that sells spares, just the full washer.

Anybody know somewhere that does the hose alone, or some alternative?

cheers

why planet x? Its a "Brand-X" washer, totally unconnected AFAIK and nothing on their website, which is why I asked. Tried place I got it and no joy - they don't/won't/can't do spares. I'm not that dumb to not try the obvious first

But dumb enough to mention you'd tried Google but not the seller.

maybe, but I assumed people might realise that I'd tried the obvious of contacting seller and manufacturer before asking a wider audience, after all a forum is usually a last resort, not a first - or is that just me? Obviously I assumed too much and next time I ask for help or assistance I'll be more detailed in what I've tried

Anyway, emailed crc so see what they come back with.
  • They may come across as arses but they mean well

Just pull a NASA, they managed to make a square hole connect to a circular one for Apollo 13 and they used sticky tape and cardboard 500,000 miles from the thing itself.

    thanks for the idea :)

Decided to take a different look at the issue. Took the trigger to pieces and found that there's a short piece of hose from outlet to the push fit. 10 mins later, removed this short length, cut the broken end off the main hose and plumbed the hose permanently into the trigger! I'm not bothered about the trigger being permanently attached - actually less change of losing 1 part. It should work but will give it a try tomorrow.
