Fork Questions

I have just picked up a kona coiler 2nd hand. I am pleased with the bike, however the front forks seem to soft and bouncy.
The forks are marzocchi bomber drop off forks, just standard i guess.
I have some fork oil 7.5 grade. How much do i need to put in?
cheers

Download oil charts from Marzocchi.
Do you think there is no oil in there?0 -

Soft on compression or damping? If compression, depending on if they're air or coilsprung, you may need to put more air in, or change the coil to a stiffer one.
If it's the rebound, then you may need to adjust the setting or as you say, change to heavier weight oil. Take a look at the tech docs first, then you'll know what to do.0 -
Im not sure to be honest if they are low on oil, i dont think they have been serviced recently anyway so want to get them right. they were very soft on compression easy enough to bottom out. I downloaded a chart from marz but cant get my head round it.
Think i will take them out and inspect them tomorrow.
Another question, bit off topic but where would i be able to get a front wheel bearing from? is there any good website for bike spares?
dont fancy clogging the forum up with loads of threads lol

the hubs shimano fh-m 4750

Shimano will be cup and cone, so just loose ball bearings inside.
Is the fork air?I don't do smileys.

20 of them. 10 each side.
If you do the back, 1/4 inch, 9 each side.I don't do smileys.

right, great help thanks for that they are really rough so need changing.
Im unsure i think they are air from what people are saying though, but going to inspect tomorrow after work if i get chance,

Should be easy enough - if they have a valve, they are air. I think they are, in which case adding a bit will firm them up.I don't do smileys.
