  • Looking at this course it is not as hard as I had heard, I am going for the obvious of Voss for the Women and Cave for the men, would like to see Amistead and G though.

  • On past form it's hard to bet against Vos, in that she's never come lower than 2nd since winning it in 2006, yet will she be cool-headed enough to risk waiting for a mass sprint?

The Dutch ladies also have other possible race winners with WIld and Van Vleuten, so they will certainly be an interesting team to watch.

How annoying is Emma Pooley as a rider - Everytime she' got to be at the front. trying to ride away while everybody sits on her wheel. wasting energy. I would tell her to get out my way ..go and sit at the back and play with the ants :D

Time to retire my rainbow jersey (I was the only one to pick the MRR winner last year) sniffle. What a magical year it has been in the stripes... an honour and a ptprivelage. Kleber (overall PTP world champ), will you join me?

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

  • MRR: If this is like most other 1 dayers in 2011, Pip will be right there. Think there's too much interest in a power sprint from the other countries tho so...
    Mark Cavendish pls Afx

Apologies for the delay. I had a close encounter with a Eurasian eagle owl yesterday and it took me a day to recover.

Well done to andyp, Art Vandelay and Snorebens... three joint winners of the PTP Worlds, each with 3 golds and a silver.

That's quite an excuse! I hope all is well and thanks for the PTP hard work
