Just read the review of the "Ultimate CF SLX" .
So what's the difference with the none "SLX" frames ?
Anybody.

They use optimized (as opposed to different per se) lay-up patterns/types of carbon to come out with a lighter frame. So you save a few grams. The tube shapes and geometry are no different between CF and CF SLX.

My standard CF in size 56cm comes in at just under 1kg so you're still getting a very light bike without going SLX.

This is their official guff from the website:
    Optimized Carbon layup
The SLX frame has an optimized Carbon layup, which ensures the highest levels of stiffness at a weight of 910 g. Pedalling forces are directly converted into propulsion and load peaks from uneven road surfaces are reliably absorbed.

So they're saying you keep the high stiffness levels despite the lighter frame. These frames are damn solid.
  • Hi, I'm thinking of buying the CF SLX, but I'm confused by their sizing guide, I see you've got a size 56. What's your height a inside leg? I'm 180cm tall with a 80 cm inside leg.
