Cannondale Trail 3 (Rigid)
Cannondale Trail 4
Specialized Rockopper Comp
Giant XTC 1 (ex demo)
Gary Fisher Xcalibre
other?
I am leaning towards the ex demo, what do you reckon? If I got the rigid Trail 3 I would upgrade fork later.

Its a bit hard to know without links to the exact bikes and their prices....
I have a Trail 2 29er, it's sort of a hybrid spec wise between the 26" Trail 1 and 2. Principal weakness's to me are the RST forks, (although they are air) and the cranks which are weighty old items. It's a great bike for me though and I've no regrets.
Do they do the 29er in trail 3 and 4 spec now?
The XTC is a higher spec I think? As I said earlier it's hard to know with out seeing prices etc.2011 Cannondale Trail SL 29er HERE0 -
