Triple clamp front forks

Hello,i have just brought a secondhand mountain bike with triple clamp forks.They are so,so,stiff.They dont have any adjustments on them?.Am i being very thick?,but how do i make them softer?.Do i need to oil them?,service them?,what do i do?.I feel an idiot as i have this bike to get into off roading and im being rattled all over.

I think they maybe Zoom.Thats what it says on the cap on top of the forks.0

There is nothing you can do to them, except strip, clean and grease them.0

Ok ty,looks like i should have brought new lol.Looks like i will be busy on sunday.Am i able to use any oil for does it have to be fork oil.I may sound like an idiot but im new to bike with sus.0

No wonder they are rattly, you'd be better of going rigid.0

Doubt the have oil (which is used for damping), more likely elastomer (chunks of rubber) and/or springs.
Possibly they will be full of water and everything inside will be corroded.
Sorry to sound negative, but I've opened some similar and they have been beyond saving.I don't do smileys.
