Just thought it would be nice (plus I am well bored at work!) to have a discussion about everyones favourite routes? any links to their maps, stats or even just stories, any from cornwal would be great

Not Cornwall, but only one county up... Anything that loops over/around Dartmoor is favourite right at the minute. Try Bovey-Haytor-Widdecombe-Two Bridges-Moretonhampstead as a lovely loop ride. It's what I'll be doing this weekend!Twitter: @FunkyMrMagic0

I have a "safe" local country road route that is my preferred "quick ride" route - it's 17.5 miles, pretty hilly, on mostly quiet country roads, it has 3 x 20-23% grades (but each is less than a minute), lots of long 5-8% grades and a couple of great fast smooth down hills. It takes about 1hr 9 mins (I am not super fit, but it's not a bad time for the terrain)
I have grown tired of every other route I have ridden, but this one I just love.
I probably ride it 4 times a week in favourable weather.
There's one stretch I particularly like where the cows always lean over the wire towards the road, and I like to say hello to them as I pass!0 -
A friend of mine took me on his route into North Wales from the Wirral where I live. A nice easy ride along very quiet country roads and cycle paths.
The problem is that I don't think I will be able to remember the way after about the 5th turn. I am going to go out this weekend and try and see if I can remember.
I could end up in CornwallCube Agree GTC Pro
