I have recently got back into MTBs after a break that was far too long and have just treated myself to a Spec Camber Expert to replace my 96 Kona U'hu.
I love the Kona so may now work on this as resto project.

Cant wait to take the newbie out - havent even had chance to remove the reflectors yet

Very nice
I love the old Konas, owned a few, always great fun!
The Camber is very nice too, but being a tart, I'd replace the fork decals to match the frame
Whats happening with the Kona, keeping is as a memento, or selling on? Either, way, enjoy!0 -

I agree and will change the decal at some stage but no rush at the mo.
Im gonna keep the Kona as I have loads of good memories of riding it and I cant bring myself to let it go!
I might do so restoration work on it, get it rechromed etc as it hads been neglegted over the last few years'96 Kona U'hu

Where can you get replacement decals from?'96 Kona U'hu

Makes sense, always hard to sell an old bike with so many memories, especially given what it would sell for these days
As for decals, Slik Graphics seem to be highly rated around here, and have Reba decals on the site here
Alternatively, you could always try to contact SRAM, who may feel nice and send a set out
As you say, no rush, it doesn't affect the ride! hope that helps0 -
Those new cambers look really nice, supposed to ride really well too. I love that retro kona though, really cool!!0

@Stav - cheers for the links, I will take a look
@dirt - thanks for the comments, I still like riding the Kona, but it need a new rear shock, bottom bracket, etc etc and it feels a bit small now as it is only a 16in frame,
It was a great bike in its day, full XT groupset, Marzochhi Z1 Bombers, it did have IRC missle tyres, but they got a bit old and perished!'96 Kona U'hu
