Have seen a number of posts showing terrain information for a commute - how do you do this?

Oh and yes, I'm a newbie on here - Epsom to Southwark a couple of times a week.

    Route planning site - eg Bikeroutetoaster, Bikely etc.

    GPS will additionally record the terrain as you ride it.
    Faster than a tent.......
