LX ht2 Crankset fit on Shimano Integrated Press Fit BB?

On the brink of buying an Anthem 2011 and it seems that it has a new fangled bottom bracket and i wanted to put my old crankset on. What's the crack?

    well it all depends on what zou have no and what you mean bz new fangled as most are a few years old now.

    in other words which LX (version/year and fitting) oh and BB size.

    is the Anthem fram got a press fit BB? if Yes you can get reducers to BSA fit.

    If it's got a Shimano Press Fit BB then yes, you just poke your current chainset through.

    Question is though... why?

    Got a ht2 lx chainset on my Rocky Mountain and want to order a 2011 anthem which has a pretty crummie set of parts. My thinking was to put the chainset off the old one onto the new one. Am i missing something? Chainset has loads of life still in it and it leaves me able to re sell the new bits on ebay! Thereby offsetting the cost of the new bike. Simples
