Hello

I have hope minis both of which have seized completely to the point that I cant even turn the wheels. Took it to my local shop who claims to be a MTB guru- he said they just needed bleeding which i doubted but then gurus know best. This worked for 5 mins before they seized up again.

I have downloaded an overhaul guide but before I take the things apart I would appreciate any advice or guidance- is it likely that they just need a good cleaning inside, new seals and the fluid replaced.

Any help would be greatly appreciated- i cant afford to buy new brakes!

Thanks

Try putting a tiny bit of brake fluid onto the seals and pumping the pistons in and out a bit manually. Might loosen up. Take the pads out first.
