Been awake for 20mins, trying to get the energy together to get up.
Have a Physio session this morning at 8, followed by a day of workmeh.
Upside is I'm leaving work early, but that's coz I'm heading to Derby later to go for dinner with THP and his Dad & Step Mum.... This is freaking me out..

Suppose I'd better get on with it

Going to the Lakes later this afternoon for the weekend. This might sound lovely but the forecast, as has been usual this year, is pretty crap. So I'm not taking the bikes as can't be bothered hoying all the stuff up there and not using it.
    MEH.

So to that end, as the forcast is good today, I'm going out for a ride today before leaving.
    :D

Have to work until leaving later today.
    MEH

Am also taking the new (2 months) Mrs DF with me to the mountain hut (it's very clean and comfortable). She doesn't know it but it's a bit of a test. If she doesn't like it then I'm not wasting time going down to Tunbridge Wells and doing a Foxc dinner with the outlaw type thing.
:D or MEH? Weekend will tell.

Bad Boy DF could be fresh back on the market on Monday morning girls.

    Hotdogs and Hallways,

Last working day of the week here. Day off tomorrow to take slow wander down to Pontypridd to help with timing a rally. Suh-weet.

Last working day also means bacons in my very near future.

Rally also means SWMBO will be visiting tonight.

Ride in this morning was brilliant. Someone fitted the coffee room with higher octane tea-bags, and I've got Sanatana/ Everlast on mediaplayer.

    S**t. Looking like a good day. 8)

    Morning campers !!

Today and the next three months will be spent at home and on the bike thanks to my spinless, lyingbastard ex boss getting rid of me after 8 months after poaching me from a secure job I had for 14 years....I have a case anyway so fingers crossed though, I still want to beat him to death with sheeps fook stick....

Any employment lawers on here please PM me (though this is crudcatcher were the dregs od society reside)

Forshaws are ace. They managed to get me a huge compromise agreement payout.

    And back to the CC.

Arsewangling boss has changed another schedule of work designed to save money, by agreeing with the client to put all of the tasks back in, plus more, and by cutting the costs even more. This he believes can be rectified by getting our staff to work overtime. This is the day after our budget meeting where I'd been told that again I'd paid out too much overtime by the very same person. :?

    Mornin'

A day of claearing out crap from the garage and loft beckons - thrilling  followed by an 'open evening' at a secondary school where we may want to send our kid. On the plus side, got an email saying my bike lights have finally been shipped, so I could be night riding by next week 8)

@Pudsey - not sure where you'll get free advice apart from the interweb, but usually a decent settlement will more than pay for solicitors fees.

@DCR00 - sorry to hear that, I had a hernia op back in May and I know what it's like. PM if you want a bit of sensible advice as the CC ain't the place for it :)

    mroning all

last nights night riding around ashton court was pretty good, my repaired Nuke Proof P7 light was a good bar mounted light.

The mount i used for the helmet failed its CDR and went througha redesign and now is awesome, holds the Ultrafire C1 firmer than a pros grip on an old mans todger!

i have a day of requirements :x something i would rather not be doing, but thats what you get for being a systems engineer!

Pudsey - no messtins, get em shafted!
BG13 - congrats, you get less for murder remember!

All I know is just keep a complete record of any conversation held between you and your employess, and if you are asked a question, say you will get back to them after you have contacted your solicitor, and if they ask for a discaplinary meeting, they have to give you at least 48 hours notice, and if they try and make it sooner, just say no as you need more time to prepare. Only know this as my brother went through this and after he got a pro on the case they didnt stand a chance.

  • Managed to fit the new bushing kit to the Edison tonight. In doing so, I noticed that 2 spokes had come loose, VERY loose, so I tightened them up too. Once I sorted that out, I noticed a lot of play in the top jockey wheel, so I replaced both of them too.
Stuck a bit more air in the shock, a bit less air in the tyres, sanded down my new pads, changed the position of the bars and the saddle very slightly and we are now done.

Evening well spent I think. :D

    best. word. ever.
  • i love going to art galleries, the wife enjoys the art, i enjoy giving her a running dialogue of how i feel about all of the cuntish idiots in there prtending an image of 2 stripes represents the connection between man and god.

I take this to the next level by spouting copious amounts about the artist and the painting that I know are utter bull that the cuntish idiots looking on agree with. A good example of this is getting a bunch of f**kwit art students to believe that a linocut picture of a small boat was actually printed using wooden blocks made from the Mary Rose and ink recovered from a giant squid.
