I'm looking to purchase the SRAM front X.0 derailleur, but can't work out if I need a short, medium or a long cage?
Current setup is 11-34 rear cassette
Front single 32T

makes no difference. there may be other issues that you have not mentioned as there are a few different Front mech fitting and such.
but if you did mean rear then the topic in the FAQs covers Sram and Shimano Cage ranges.0 -
Assume you meant rear, as you'll not be running a front at all with a single ring...
Short would be the best bet.0
