Help! Need a manbag ... or a bag

Any suggestions?
Feed up of having to load up my pockets and stretch my jeans. Doesn't need to be big... just big enough for wallet, keys, 2x mobiles and maybe a Kindle.
I've had a look around and drawing a bit of a blank. Best I have come up with is the:
Crumpler Prime Cut: http://www.crumpler.eu/index.cfm?seite= ... sprache=EN
or
Crumpler Prime Mover: http://www.crumpler.eu/index.cfm?seite= ... sprache=EN
But the Prime Cut looks a bit big and the Prime Mover... a bit like a purse.
Could do with a big of organizing inside so that the electronic items aren't scratching each other to bits.
I don't ride no Fixie... so have no intention of buying a nice trendy leather number; just looking for a small shoulder/messenger style bag.
It seems all of the smaller bags look a like a lady's bag... and the larger ones... are just, erhh, .. large!
Is there such thing as a proper manbag? Or is as good as your going to get is some leather number to hang from your Fixie handlebars?

I like the Paul Smith stuff, but appreciate it's not cheap. Leather bags do last a lot longer though. Brooks do something similar, and cheaper.

What about a Freitag bag.
Recycled from old truck tarporlins (which means everyone is individual), car seat belts and bikes inner tubes.
I have a Freitag messenger bag and it's so tough and hard wearing.

You're right. Can't find it on their site now. A google of bonk bag comes with plenty of results.0 -
Manbags are great for all the reasons you want one for. I got one several years agio when I was living abroad and needed to carry a 'pocket' dictionary everywhere I went. Size wise about 8 inch square seems a good size but I don't own a kindle or big smart phone.
have a look here, pick several styles and see which one works for you...

The only bags I carry are back from the shops. WTF is going on here? What's next "where's the best place to get a sex change"?
Today is the 71st anniversary of the Battle or Britain, thankfully those real Men weren't worried about where they might carry their second mobile phone or a kindle.

Tbh, I'm surprised this thread got to 16 posts before one of those0

I think man bags are........manly. I have one, messenger style, but you have to wear it, strap across body. if you just have it worn on shoulder straight down, you will look dodgy and upset real men (think football shirts, bad tattoos, Harvesters are restaraunts, teeth like sugar puffs, etc).0

There is always one
Not sure they had mobile phones or Kindles in the BoB, but they did use 'manbags':

Kind of expecting it... as have avoided them up until now... but it's no use avoiding them anymore. I don't like the idea of a manbag... but the alternative is far worse!on-oneplus26 wrote:Manbags are great for all the reasons you want one for. http://www.surplusandadventure.com/shop ... 39815.html I have one of these. They are just a basic large compartment, if you are worried about scratches - put them in a dustbag. Nice piece of kit.0
