Hi,
I recently converted a sram Rival chainset into a Cyclo Cross set up on a columbus CX frame. Running Shimano 105 thoughout apart from the chainset.
The chainset still has its original 34t inner and I replaced the outer for a stronglight 44t as my mate who I bought the frame off was running stronglight on his Campag Chainset.
3 out of 4 rides my chain has been blown apart, I fixed it once and replaced with two new ones. The original was a Dura Ace and the new one KMC X10. I cannot go through another one and need to sort it out. The only thing I can think it is the chainset? It feels as though there may be some slight rub as I am pedaling that could be forcing the link to come away, but not certain??
Has anyone got any ideas???

Roadies might have a better idea as all road stuff, but is the Stronglight a 10 speed ring? If not it might be a bit wide and splitting the chain.I don't do smileys.
