I have bought replaqcement forks for my girlfreinds 2009 talon to replace the crap rst ones that were fitted .
I bought 2011 rock shox recon silver coil forks but on getting them even with the preload turned right down i wonder if they will be over sprung for my 52kg 5'4" girlfreind.
I wonder if they will loosen up after use or will i need to get a weaker spring? I have looked for a soft spring but can only find soft/yellow springs for 2009/10 recons.
any advice would be appreciated cheers.

See how you get on - can always get a spring at a later date.
