shimano part codes and compatibility

Is there anywhere that shows the diffrent shimano parts and their compatibility with each other? Im trying to figure out about puting 2x10 on my cracks(which are race face evolve with hope bb) and if I can put a mrpx2 chain device on it too. But i cant see the info. ISCG tabs., what and where are they?!!!! Would think I had been playing with mtbs for nearly 20years.....

ISCG tabs are tabs on the BB to fit a chain device.I don't do smileys.

Shimano Tech docs have some compatability - but they are not going to say whether they fit with other brands.0

What do iscg (or iscg 05) look like. I cant find info on the hope bb ive got on the bike.
I just ment which shimano components work with each other (ie 3x9 cranks/chain wheels and 2x10cranks and chain wheelsetc), not so much diffrent makers.2011 Orange 224 evo race

What Shimano says works, and what we know from testing to work are two different things ;-)
There is some info in the FAQ on 9 and 10 speed compatibilty.
