French 4-6 day summer training

Does anybody have any suggestions for a single base point and routes for a summer road riding training camp in france. We're looking to complete daily routes between 50-70miles with maybe a few mountain routes. We looking for weather to be warm and DRY !! so maybe further south. Cheers for any help.

Loire Valley Breaks are also a good base if you want flatter rides or shorter cross-Channel journey.

St Jean de Maurienne is a good base if you want to blitz a few 'grand cols' in the Alps.
