The second edition of Andalucía Bike Race is about to be launched! The provinces of Córdoba and Jaén will host this mountain bike stage race, that will take place from the 26th of February to the 2nd of March 2012. The amazing weather in the south of Spain offers a great chance to start off the racing season under blue skies and warm temperatures, as well as enjoying a magnificent riding experience thanks to the trails and landscapes.

Andalucía Bike Race is a team competition, carried out in pairs, in which both members have to ride together. A great competition format that ensures fellowship, enjoyment and safety - an unforgettable experience for everyone!

The six day race will be divided into a short urban prologue through the downtown of Córdoba, followed by five marathon stages. Those who rode the Andalucía Bike Race 2011 will know the area but shouldn’t expect the same stages, these are new and even better!

The first edition of Andalucía Bike Race satisfied all of its racers, both professionals and amateurs, which came from fifteen different countries. In words of the former Cross Country World Champion, José Antonio Hermida, who took part in the race together with former Marathon World Champion, Ralph Näf; “We are discovering a new Andalucía, which we didn’t expect”.

2012 Andalucía Bike Race will continue offering a broad variety of race services to all its participants; lodging in four star hotels, free massage service, physiotherapists, airport shuttles, stage transfers, photographic packs, DVD, bike wash, mechanical service, feed zones, the new Techbox, etc. A really attractive stage race, easy and affordable to travel to thanks to the variety of flights landing in the nearby airports of Sevilla and Málaga.

The registration period will open by the end of September and will close the 19th of February 2012. Also through www.andaluciabikerace.com, riders will soon be able to book any additional services. The entry fee will be 380 € per person, but the early entries, until the 8th of January 2012, will benefit from a special price (290 € per participant), what a great Christmas gift!
