2010 Boardman Pro FS Front Wheel Bearing

My dads bike has a massive amount of play in one side of the front hub on his 2010 Boardman Pro FS (maxle hub). Before I go ahead with brut force and ignorance to change the bearings, does anyone have any experience in replacing these? Not hope or similar, but specifically on the Boardman Pro Fs, any pointers would be greatfully recieved. Many thanks.

    Yes, I've done mine. The info is on this forum. I'll try to find it.
    I got the new bearings from AK Bearings at £12.77 delivered - much cheaper than bike suppliers and I suspect much better quality too.
    Riding this Boardman Team FS 2010. Also trying my first blog.
