Westcountry Way MBR Route (Plymouth-Minehead / Taunton)

I'm thinking of doing the mbr (mountain bike routes uk) Westcountry Way route from Plymouth to Minehead with the Taunton (quantocks) add on some time next year.

Has anybody done this route? If so would you recommend it and do you have any tips on itinery places to stay etc? Is it doable over 4 days for someone of average to decent fitness? - (I notice Skedaddle seem to do it over 5 days riding - http://biking.skedaddle.co.uk/holiday/M ... sier.rails)
Also, any links to electronic copy of the route so I can check out in more detail?
