was intending to buy a new bike but the other half is encouraging me to hold on until we emigrate to canada in a year and a half.
she reckons prices will be much cheaper over there than here.
i'm interested to hear other thoughts.

check first, I was there this summer for a while and found a lot of things more expensive although if you check out MEC they have some good suff, and remember the exchange rate isn't as good as it used to be0

18 months is quite a long time away; a lot can happen between now and then. If you want a new bike and can afford it, live for the now.0

i can always sell the commuting giant defy before i leave and buy another bike out there to demote the cube!0
