Carbon 456 Frame

Hi all,
Recently bought a 456 frame which I now have up and running, really chuffed to bits with it.
I ride a lot in the peaks though, and I'm concerned about the front wheel throwing up rocks. Other than heli-tape is there anything that would be useful to protect the frame a bit? Or would it be overkill?
Any carbon frame owners out there have any tips for maintenance etc?
Thanks

I have a carbon. I have helitape cable rub areas but that's about it, it now has some scratches here and there but nothing major0

Saw some stuff advertised in Dirt bike mag which seams to be like a padded version of helitape but haven't got the mag to hand but it looked the ideal stuff for the down tube. I'm thinkig of buying some for my Trek.I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

I have had some hard roch hits to mine and nothing to repor. I did put heli tape on the down tube and would advise it on any a new bike.0

What about one of there: http://www.rockguardz.com/
Says he will make one for anyone willing to drop their bike off. I would but hes miles away0 -
yeah i wondered if anything like that existed! But I think Oswestry is a bit far for me to travel to have a downtube mould made...Carbon 456... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8854609/0

I'm just not caring. Remember, the top layer is cosmetic/protective anyway, so a minor chip is effectively the same as paint damage. A hit that's heavy enough to damage one of these frames badly would damage a metal frame too. So, I don't worry about it.Uncompromising extremist0
