Anyone got a good route from SW London to St Albans?

That's it really - going to visit a mate up there today and wondered if there was a nicer route than piling through London on A roads...

    Cheers - that takes me through Pinner, Northolt etc - quite built up all the way. I think that might be unavoidable!

    Pinner/Northholt isnt too bad, ride out that way with Kenton RC. if you want less built up look for a route through Harefield, Batchworth, west side of Watford but its going to add a fair few miles...

    Great, thanks. That adds on 3 miles to my route, so will do it that way.

    Nothing against Pinner/Northolt; just looks a bit less built up further out.
