Garmin 800, polar heart rate belt.

Is it posible to use a polar heart rate belt (polar ft80 coded transmitter) with the garmin 800. Tried pairing but does not seem to work. Also is it worth getting the garmin cadence/speed transmitter. I use the polar for indoor exercise (spinning, circuit training, kettlebells ect) and was wanting the cheapest option for outdoor biking. Is there a good website for onfo ongarmin 800.

In a word no, different frequencies. The "Premium" Garmin strap is very comfortable, but not as cheap for you!0

There are a lot of people there using Polar Wearlink straps with their Garmin 800 due to probs with the Garmin premium soft strap.0 -
i had loads of problems with the garmin hr belt.
