I've been suffering with what I thought was a minor groin strain injury for about a year now, so off I went to get an MRI.

It seems the docs now suspect this horrible disease around the hip joint.

I'm not in any real pain, but do sometimes notice a slight limp and what feels like a minor groin strain.

I'm not even sure if what I've been feeling is related to this bone issue, or whether it's just something else that was picked up on the MRI.

This disease sounds scary, and eventually leads to a hip-replacement it seems - the bone just dies due to a lack of blood supply.

Has anyone any experience of it?

It seems Floyd Landis also battled with it through the tour-de-france, and eventually had his hip replaced, so there's hope for me yet! :)
