Will Tortec Velocity pannier rack fit on Ribble Audax?

Hi,

I'm after buying a pannier rack for my Ribble Audax/Winter for commuting duties. Not wanting anything that says "tourer" too much I came across the Tortec Velocity and thought it might do the job::

However, talking with a guy at work with the same bike, he was told by Ribble that the Velocity wouldn't fit due to fowling the mudguards and instead the slightly bulkier Tortec Ultralight was the best compromise:

I'd prefer the Velocity to the Ultralight... is anyone running one on a Ribble Audax who could confirm it fits?

I've just tried to fit a Velocity Hybrid on my 58cm Ribble Audax with no joy. It has extra mudguard clearance so that wasn't a problem but I found it too long so it fouls the brake and there's so little room around the bottom mounting holes that you can't pivot the rack away from the brake.

Shame really as otherwise it was perfect.....

Contacted Ribble to ask for advice and they suggested I try a Tortec Expedition which is a far more substantial rack. I might try a Lezyne Power rack first as it is lighter weight.
