fitting a reverb to a canyon AM

Hi,

I have a 2011 canyon nerve AM 7.0 and I have just bought a rockshox reverb for it. I believe the canyon am 8.0 comes with one as standard and the cable runs through the frame. Is this correct?

Can anybody advise how to fit it and explain the cable routing?

click on the pic and zoom in - it looks like the reverb passes under the top tube and only the gears & brakes pass inside the tube

I have a reverb fitted to my Giant reign and I followed the existing cables, looks really neat until you put the seat down then the cable bulges at the rear (odviously).

Would be better with no cable and a lever on the seat, just have to live with it.

Thanks for your help. It does pass under the top tube. Just need to see if my lbs will have a few clips to tidy the hose away. There seems to ne a couple of grommits ready for it.

Canyon XC7 here and fitted my reverb cable under the top tube. No where to route it internally. Works ok but just have to put up with the loop when seat dropped. Not a major issue and more than made up for by the convenience.

where can you git the clips that fasten the hose to the frame. My LBS doesnt sell any that can fit. Mind, he did grumble when I told him it was a canyon. no interest from that point

My reverb came with clips. However you could try these.
