Carrera Subway Hybrid 2011 Advice

Hi, I am contemplating getting one of these from Halfords (gasp!) for £299 - seems to have it all light frame, disk brakes, shimano altus gears, nice tyres... It seems to be some sort of special edition i think.

Anyone have any experience with this bike? Or recommend alternatives for on road and light trails at a similar price?

I have the limited edition ( black with green ), fab bike. Just started to use regulary with no problems

For the same price you can get a 2011 specialized sirrus. Much better frame, wheels and tyres.
