Eeerrr, it's raced tomorrow. (9th September)
Eurosport 5-30pm-9-30pm
I noticed this "oddity" was both in their schedules and on Sky epg, but the official site has no knowledge of anything happening on the road.
The team presentation isn't until 10am EST, tomorrow.
Don't forget, those nice folks at Harmonland are bringing us Paris-Bruxelles on Saturday.
So, sit back and enjoy the endless pitter patter of hard court tennis."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
It might be this sprinting KO thing:
The Challenge Sprint Pro is a competition over a one-kilometre course, organized into heats of four racers each. The top two finishers in each knockout heat move on to the next round until the ultimate champion is crowned in the final showdown. These super-fast, spectacular races mean sure-fire thrills for the crowd!

Euskaltel put Romain Sicard in a sprinting competition? Sheesh, what did he do to deserve that?0

Maybe they should have invited some track sprinters and see how they fare. This is like watching Mo Farah doing the 100 metres.0

This doesn't seem to have been publicised at all. Would have thought an experimental format like this would have got a bit more attention.0 -
can't decide if its actually any good myself... maybe they should be made to ride between the cones first...0

Hunter v Sanz v Morkov v Clarke in the final.
Morkov is the least sprinty sprinter I've ever seen. He just rides off the front.0 -
Where is Theo Bos anyway? Surely he would walk this. Rabobank entered that well-known sprint king Jos Van Emden...0
